Our Story
Our story began in the glow of the cinema lights, where Joseph was a team leader and Tasha a customer assistant. What started as a friendship between colleagues blossomed into something truly special. After the world paused for Covid, fate brought us together for a movie night—Last Night In Soho—with friends and colleagues, including Molly. As we stepped out into the night, a BMW revved its engine, but Tasha, never one to be outdone, declared, "My car is louder than that," and proved it with a playful rev of her own. In that moment, Joseph’s heart knew he had found someone extraordinary.
Our first official date, on December 20th, was a day to remember: a cozy meal at the Waterford Arms, the magic of a Christmas Market at Newcastle Racecourse, and the excitement of Spider-Man: No Way Home at the cinema. Our love grew with every shared adventure, and in June 2023, we built our first home together. Two years later, on December 20th, 2025, Joseph recreated that unforgettable first date and, with our loyal dog Opie by our side at Wansbeck River, asked Tasha to be his forever.
Now, as we prepare to say "I do," we are overjoyed to celebrate this beautiful journey with all of you. Thank you for being part of our story and for sharing in the joy of our special day.
